International Credit Card and Matching donations are U.S. tax-deductible gifts since they are paid to CAF America in USD regardless of non-profit organization (NPO) country. Therefore, these will appear in the donor profile as CGDS tax receipts. NOTE: Canada Tax receipts are generated for donations contributed to Canadian organizations.
- The U.S. tax receipt will list all global organizations and amounts in USD. The tax receipt displays the amount the donor contributed (in CGDS standard format), excluding any foreign transaction fees applied by the user’s bank/credit card as CyberGrants does not have access to this information.
