Gift Eligibility Dates on a proposal type control when a donor can create gifts and for what date ranges are eligible for the gifts. For the Dollars for Doers hours proposal type, the Creation Date Range controls what date range an employee has to redeem a volunteer match. The Gift Date Range does not control behavior in the donor portal but does need to be configured.

In the example below, employees can request a volunteer match for 2022 between 1/1/2022 - 12/31/2022. They cannot request a grant for 2021 (see Figure 1.)

In the example below, employees can redeem volunteer matches for 2021 volunteer hours until 7/31/2022 and 2022 volunteer hours until 7/31/2023 (see Figure 2.)
