CAF America partners with Bonterra to deliver a feed that includes a list of international organizations to which they can issue credit card and match payments. This feature is not available for other proposal types at this time. This set of organizations is separated into two separate tax sources (Expedite Partner and Direct Pay).
- Expedite Partner Organizations → organizations where CAF America partners handle vetting and payouts. These partners are affiliated with two specific countries: Australia and the United Kingdom.
- Direct Pay Organizations → organizations directly vetted by and can be paid out by CAF America.
To be approved for a credit card proposal, organizations must appear on the feed assigned to either tax source and qualify based on the eligible tax statuses configured for the credit card and match proposal types.
The following chart lists the two CAF America International Organization Tax Statuses and a general description of the processes and frequencies for each (which are explained further in other sections of this article):

Below are some general key points related to the structure of the CAF America Global Charity Feed:
- The CAF America Global Charity Feed is the sole list of non-U.S. organizations available for employees. Donors may use the International Invitations workflow when an organization does not appear on the feed.
- An invitation prompts the organization to begin CAF America’s eligibility process. Once CAF America approves the organization, it will be added to the Global Charity Database and subsequently reflected in the Global Charity Feed. Organizations invited by donors will not appear in search results or be eligible for credit card giving or matching until CAF America completes its review and adds the organization to the appropriate tax source within the feed.
- Admin users can reject an organization appearing on the feed if they choose to exclude the organization from the program.
- Admin users cannot approve organizations that are not CAF America-verified and included in the feed.
