Using the default cybergrants.com for mail to be sent from is the safest and most secure option.
It ensures that all emails originate from a single, trusted domain that is associated with the CyberGrants brand.
Step 2: Consider the benefits of using the cgadmin.cybergrants.com domain
Using the cgadmin.cybergrants.com domain for email sending provides additional benefits, such as improved deliverability and reduced risk of emails being flagged as spam or suspicious.
- By centralizing all email communications through a dedicated subdomain, CyberGrants can better monitor and manage the reputation of its email infrastructure, ensuring that messages are reliably delivered to recipients' inboxes.
Step 3: Configure the email_event_link Setting
Emails that would be sent from the email address on the user's profile should be set to an email_event_link of cgadmin.cybergrants.com.
- This is a best practice recommended by CyberGrants as it helps to ensure that all emails sent from the platform are easily identifiable as coming from CyberGrants.
