- After creating proposal types (see Creating New Proposal Types) restrict these portlets to appropriate proposal type
- Admin > Employee Application Configuration > Proposal Types > View Proposal Types
- Hover your mouse over each Proposal Type and look at URL displayed at the bottom of your browser or click on the proposal to see the URL. At the end of the URL should be "Proposal_type_id=" and remember the number.
- Go back to the portal pages: Admin > Portal Pages > Donor Portal > View/Edit Portal Pages
- On each portal page, click and open the portlets (Portlets used in this page) to restrict to each correct proposal type (removes the issue of having to look for the correct one – removes the type drop down).
- Choose the Advance button at the bottom of the page.
- Choose Parameter > Proposal Type ID to which portlet content should be limited and enter in proposal id (from step b) in the Value field and Save.
- This removes the Type dropdown on the portlets that shows all proposals eligible

If more teasers are needed, manual cloning will have to be done for the amount needed. (Admin > Portal Pages > View/Edit Portlets) The teasers on the home page may need to be altered depending on what programs the client has.
