Gift Eligibility Date ranges on a proposal type control when a donor can create gifts and their eligible date ranges.
For the Log Hours proposal type, the Creation Date Range controls what date range an employee can record hours, and the Gift Date Range designates what volunteer dates are eligible to be submitted.

In the example below, employees can log hours for 2022 for volunteer dates between 1/1/2022 - 12/31/2022.
In the example below, employees can log hours for 2021 until 7/31/2022 and for 2022 until 7/31/2023
