The CyberGrants Human Resources (HR) Feed Extension is a standardized solution designed to streamline the transfer of employee data from your internal HR system to the CyberGrants platform. This extension is a critical tool for ensuring program eligibility, accurate employee verification, and seamless engagement in corporate philanthropy programs such as matching gifts, volunteerism, and payroll giving.

Key features:
Automated donor data management - Employee records are created, updated, or marked inactive based on the data received, ensuring accurate eligibility for all programs.
Secure file transmission - Employee data is transferred via encrypted pipe-delimited flat files using Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) to the CyberGrants SFTP Bunker.
Scheduled file processing - Supports routine file loads on a weekly or monthly basis, processed automatically on a scheduled job.
Field-level customization - Optional fields such as Employee Type, Pay Periods, Currency, and List Values allow for advanced segmentation and program logic.
Real-time error notifications - Administrators receive email alerts for both successful loads and failures, allowing for immediate action.
Comprehensive file validation - CyberGrants checks for file integrity, formatting, required fields, and duplicates before data is imported.
Limitations and considerations:
One-way feed - Data flows only from the client to CyberGrants. There is no data sent back from CyberGrants.
Full files required - Only complete employee files are supported; partial or delta files are not accepted.
Strict formatting compliance - Files must follow CyberGrants’ format specification exactly, including headers, trailers, delimiters, encryption, and two-character country/state codes. Any deviations can cause processing failure.
Immutable donor IDs -Donor IDs must be unique, unchanging, never recycled, and must not be email addresses or Social Security Numbers.
Program administrator responsibilities - Data must comply with your company’s internal data policy. CyberGrants does not alter feed data and is not responsible for its accuracy or downstream effects.
Change control and QA - Any changes to the feed spec require client sign-off and may impact the timeline. CyberGrants conducts QA before User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and program administrators must participate in full UAT.
