Understanding the CyberGrants Super PDF Extension
The Super PDF Extension for Bonterra’s CyberGrants enhances administrative workflows by automating the compilation of comprehensive PDF documents from request and organization records. This extension enables program administrators to generate structured, consistent documentation with a single click, reducing manual effort and minimizing the risk of data omission.
Designed as a standardized add-on, the Super PDF Extension streamlines reporting and recordkeeping processes. It allows customers to extract both form data and file attachments into a single document or compressed zip file, supporting better documentation practices and audit readiness. As with all CyberGrants extensions, the Super PDF Extension includes a maintenance package and is available for purchase using solution credits.

Key features:
- A configurable internal field is added to request records to trigger PDF generation.
- All standard and custom field data from request records is consolidated into a single PDF.
- Related organizational data, such as contacts, payments, approvals, and impact reports, can optionally be included.
- All file uploads from both the request and organization records are attached.
- The output is either a single PDF with stitched attachments (if all attachments are in PDF format) or a compressed ZIP file (if any attachments are in a non-PDF format).
- An optional download is available for a zipped file containing the PDF and original attachments.
- Users can regenerate the PDF at any time, ensuring real-time access to updated data.
Limitations and considerations
- Only one functional update is allowed per calendar year, and changes must fall within the original extension scope.
- PDF files are not stored in CyberGrants and must be downloaded and stored by the customer.
- Request view configuration and proposal type conditional logic are not evaluated when generating the Super PDF.
- Customization requests post-implementation may result in additional costs and adjusted timelines.
- Full User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is required before implementation in a production environment.
