Limitations and Considerations:
When implementing and managing the Charitable Spending Account (CSA) Extension, it is important to be aware of the following limitations and constraints:
- Only one configuration change is permitted per calendar year, and it must remain within the scope of the purchased extension.
- CSA balances and limits can only be increased; mid-year decreases are not allowed.
- All CSA allocations expire at the end of the fiscal year as configured in the file, with no carryover into the next year.
- If currency is not explicitly specified in the upload file, it will default to the client’s base currency.
- All post-production changes require a formal change order and may result in additional project costs.
- Clients are expected to complete full User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure proper functionality before going live.
- Any deviation from Bonterra’s standard implementation methodology may lead to unexpected system behavior or additional implementation costs.
