Program Categories allow administrators to refine search results and report data, providing a more comprehensive view of the programs your organization is running. As a result, your administrators have access to information about the types of campaigns most successful across your organization, which they can leverage and use to inform decisions about running existing or innovative programs.
Program Categories can be added as criteria to search fields on the following tabs:
- Main
- Employee Giving
- Volunteer Events
Note: Program Categories can only be added as a filter for Insights Reports.

| Event Sponsorship | Exchange a contribution for marketing or advertising consideration. |
| Research | Support researchers and research-related activities. |
| Medical Education | Support independent medical education to further the knowledge or improve the skills of medical practitioners. |
| Compassionate Access | Provide an avenue for patients who have exhausted all available treatment options to use a pre-approved drug. |
| In-Kind | Contribute goods or services that are not monetary. |
| Expense | Support Grantmaker operating costs. E.G., Rent, office supplies, salary, etc. |
| Letter of Inquiry | Accept submissions from organizations outlining their purpose and the project in need of funding before a formal grant proposal. |
| Membership | A grant for membership to an organization. |
| Scholarship | Fund higher or continued education for students seeking financial aid. |
