The Insights Single Value Visualization style menu allows users to customize the appearance and formatting of their data visualizations, including options to adjust the collection, value color, title display, and value format.
Proceed through the steps below to access the Style Menu and leverage its various features.
Step 1: Access Insights and choose an Explore
Log in to the CyberGrants platform and navigate to the Insights tab.
In the left-hand menu, select the "Analyze" option to view and choose from the available Explores.
Step 2: Build or select a report
Create a new report by either building it from scratch by adding relevant fields or if any prebuilt Quick Start reports are available, select one of those as a starting point.
Step 3: View the Single Value Visualization Style Menu
The single-value icon in the Visualization toolbar will allow you to view the report as a single numeric value.
Navigate to the Style menu options in the Insights Single Value Visualization type.
Step 4: Change the Color Theme
Utilize the Collection feature to update the themed visualization and achieve a cohesive appearance.
Step 5: Modify the Value Color
Utilize the Value Color option to set the color of the single value visualization, with the default being dark gray.
Step 6: Display the Title
Determine whether a title should be shown under the number using the Show Title option.
Step 7: Use Tile Override
If the Show Title option is enabled, use the Tile Override to customize the title that will be displayed with the value.
Step 8: Customize the Value Format
Customize the Value Format to specify the format of the value, independent of the underlying dimension or measure. The field accepts Excel-style formatting. If no formatting is specified, the value will be displayed in the format of the underlying dimension or measure.
