The Insights Radial Gauge Visualization provides users with the ability to visually represent measured values within an Insights Explore. The Value Menu offers a range of customization options to adjust how the actual value amount is displayed on the gauge, enabling users to tailor the visualization to their specific needs.
Proceed as follows to update the view of the measured value in the Insights Radial Gauge:
Step 1: Access a report through an Insights Explore
Log in to the CyberGrants platform and navigate to the Insights tab.
In the left-hand menu, select the "Analyze" option to view and choose from the available Explores.
Create a new report by either building it from scratch by adding relevant fields or if any prebuilt Quick Start reports are available, select one of those as a starting point
Step 2: View the Radial Gauge Visualization Value Menu
Use the ellipsis in the Visualization toolbar to access the Radial Gauge Visualization type.
Click Edit in the right corner of the Visualization toolbar to access the Radial Gauge Visualization Value Menu options.
Step 3: Select a Value Label Type
Within the Value Menu, select the desired value label type to modify the visual representation of the label. The available options include the following:
Step 4: Update the Value Label Font Size
Locate the font size setting within the Value Menu and adjust it to your preferred size for the value label.
Step 5: Override the Value Formatting
Use the Value Formatting Override option to manually input a specific value to be visually represented on the gauge.
Step 6: Modify the Value Label
Utilize the Value Label Override feature to change the label for the value amount displayed in the gauge.
Step 7: Adjust the Value Label Padding
Update the placement of the value label by modifying the Value Label Padding setting within the Value Menu.
