FrontDoor for Nonprofits Overview

The centralized FrontDoor platform enables nonprofits to manage gift confirmations, view payment history, and access company portals. Registration, organization claiming, and contact information management are now handled in the Bonterra Nonprofit Hub.

  • All nonprofit account users can access and view multiple Company Portals through the FrontDoor website using a single Nonprofit Hub user account. Nonprofit Hub Verified Owners have administrative access to manage secure organization profile settings and approve user access requests. While Owners cannot directly add users from the Users tab in the Organization Profile, they can approve access requests submitted by users who search for and request to join the organization. Profile and banking information are also now managed exclusively in the Nonprofit Hub.
  • FrontDoor continues to provide access to the Donation and Payment consoles for viewing transactions.
    • Access to the Donation Console enables account owners to view and confirm pending gift confirmations for multiple programs administered by various CyberGrants clients through the FrontDoor portal.
    • The Payments Console provides a centralized view of the account owner's organization's payment history, allowing them to filter by timeframe and company name.

Nonprofit registrants must provide validating information through the Bonterra Nonprofit Hub during the registration and ownership application process, and then, once verified, they can use FrontDoor (via SSO) to confirm gifts, view payment history, and manage relationships with associated grantmakers.
