Through the CyberGrants portal, qualifying employees (i.e., donors) can search Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) America’s Global Charity Database of approximately 200,000 non-profit organizations in over 100 countries (not including Canada and the U.S.) and contribute through the program via credit card with a company match. Payments processed using this feature are managed through our existing CyberGrants Disbursement Solutions (CGDS) in partnership with CAF America.
In some cases, a donor may search for an international organization that does not appear in the available results. When this happens, the donor can use the International Invitations workflow to invite the organization to begin CAF America’s eligibility process. The organization must complete CAF America’s registration, documentation, and review steps before it will appear in search results and become eligible for donation and matching.
Feature Availability
This is a combined purchase – To leverage our partnership with CAF America for enhanced visibility and payment management, your program must include the following components:
- An active Credit Card proposal type.
- CyberGrants Disbursement Solutions configuration.
- USD-based currency. Funding is sent to CAF America in USD and paid to organizations in their local currency.
- GGPay (Google Pay and Apple Pay) configuration.
The application allows for both cross-border and international domestic credit card giving through a single credit card proposal type.
- Admin users can narrow down organization eligibility to list by country or expand the search to include all locations, both domestic and non-domestic.
