- Silent Generation (1928-1945)
- Greatest Generation (1901-1927)
- Lost Generation (1883-1900).

| Donor Retention Type |
The retention type an employee belongs to, based on their engagement (giving or volunteering) over the span of time they have been an active employee. Expected values would be:
- Repeat-Retained - Employees who gave for the last two years in a row (including the current year) and in any prior year
- New-Retained - Employees who gave for the first time last year and have given again this year
- Recaptured - Employees who gave prior to last year, did not give last year but have given again this year
- New - Employees who gave for the first time this year
- Lapsed - Employees who gave last year but have not yet given this year
- Lost - Employees who gave two or more years ago but did not give last year or this year
- Incomplete Engagement - Employees whose only engagement records are tied to Canceled, Rejected, Completed, or Closed dispositions
- No Engagement - Employees who do not have any engagement records.
