Understanding Causes in CyberGrants
The Cause feature within CyberGrants helps administrators to measure their contributions by social good area and donors to discover organizations and events that support the Causes that matter most to them.
- Clients can understand how what they're doing contributes to a specific social good area.
- Donors discover ways to support Causes that matter to them.
Feature Availability
Causes are visible to all clients using either Administration or Employee Engagement.
- While we'll be filling out Causes automatically based on the IRS BMF, Causes will be visible and will behave like any other field that doesn't have values.
- Administrators will see Causes within ad-hoc reporting and the organization pages within the Admin console.
- Donors searching for organizations in other countries will see the Cause field but no results will appear - we do plan to assign Cause based on tax files from Australia, Canada, and the UK in the future.
