Insights Analyze Basics Overview
Insights Analyze is a robust tool that enables Insights Analysts to explore and visualize their program's data. The Analyze section of Insights provides a user-friendly interface for selecting data fields, applying filters, adjusting data tables, and choosing from a variety of visualization options.
When first entering an Insights Explore (or "Look"), analysts will often find pre-built "Quick Start" reports that can serve as a starting point for their analysis. Below are some key points to emphasize:
- Dimensions and measures are used to build the Explore's data table, with dimensions appearing as blue columns and measures as orange columns.
- Filters can be applied to limit the data set, using a combination of AND/OR logic and custom expressions.
- The data table can be manipulated through sorting, totaling, and adding additional table calculations.
- Each Insights Explore offers a wide range of visualization types with its own set of customization options.
- Analyses that have been completed can be downloaded in multiple formats, saved as a standalone "Look," or added to Dashboards to facilitate broader access and sharing.
